Fast, easy and delicious, once the pressure comes up it's only 5 minutes to done!

This was my first pasta recipe in the instant pot so it was with fear and trembling that I proceeded.  I did have to remove some noodles that clumped together a bit, but for the most part the noodles were cooked all the way through and delicious.  I like to make spaghetti, but usually it heats up the whole house and I have to stand at the stove watching it.  This was so easy that once it got going, I logged on facebook and uploaded a few pictures from our vacation.  The best part about this sauce in the Instant Pot is that you can taste all of the flavors in each bite.  This recipe does make a lot, so I suggest browning the ground beef with the vegies in a pan first.

Because this is a big recipe, I recommend browning the ground beef in a skillet with the onion, green pepper and mushrooms. Salt and pepper to your taste.

Once browned, dump the mixture in the Instant Pot and add black olives, petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water. Stir together.

Add sugar and spices and stir together again.

Break noodles in half and place in center of pot. Separate them in the sauce as much as possible.

Put the lid on the Instant Pot and set on manual for 5 minutes. We like our noodles slightly soft, so if you like them firmer, the general rule is half the time required on the pasta label.

Make sure your knob is turned to sealing so that the pot pressurizes. (Not that I've ever forgotten that. lol) Then let it go through its cycle. I let it naturally depressurize and then did a quick release to finish.

Give it a quick stir and serve!
